Busy Busy Busy
I am really busy at work.
I hate being busy at work. Yes, it gives me a sense that I am on control and working on my career and showcasing my potentials to my bosses, but it makes me feel like I have no life. Absolutely sucky.
I got an important meeting next wed, in which I have to do a presentation representing 2 departments to a core management team to convince them to take my idea. Of course, my bosses are coming with me, but still! I am nervous.
And I got to know my work load next year. Got big projects parked under me... sian
On top of that, Nov is full of appraisals ranking meetings... got to meet my staff, my direct boss and my DD. Then amend appraisal forms, appraisal ranking meetings with the bosses of sections, then department... wah liao. Might as well delicate next month as appraisal month.
Anyway, bought my clarins stuff last week. Makes me damn happy about it. Took a picture of it... but lazy to post here. Lazy to blog these days because I am already having not enough sleep.
Sigh, I haven't even explore the whole of Ion, makes me feel so sua ku.
Alright, should go to bed soon. Waiting for the latest episodes of 90210 to load on youku... my friend/ colleague's hen's party is tomorrow! Got to start thinking about all those ten kan things to do to the groom!

Ok, so some of the pictures of F1.
Drivers' Parade
The race itself... I know cannot see much, but you can tell when the cars are coming by the sound of the race...
This girl is so cute... she was having this big pink ear plugs and she totally ignored the race! Just more interested in throwing her white towel everywhere...
This was Nick Carter... he was standing on some scafolding but I could not get a good clear shot of him...
The grandstand... and all the rubbish people left behind after the BSB concert...
In front of the BSB's stage with my ticket... totally exhausted.
I shot this guy secretly outside starbucks of Raffles City... from far, he really looks like Nick Carter. But we were very far away and my hands really shook badly, so cannot really see from here....

Really think that it's damn worthwhile lo... it costs me $38 bucks, which is like less than less than 8 bucks per CD. And my fave is actually the Dangerous album =)
And now I have 2!!!!

Just more interested in throwing her white towel everywhere...Basically, me and Jul were not able to see much of the race, because we bought the walkabout tickets and there were no seats for us. We were standing near the Padang area because there was where Backstreet Boys would sing later.... But pretty much we enjoyed the race because the noise made up a lot of the atmosphere!
Anyway, I also damn su ku lah. I know a lot of people said that it will be very noisy, but I didn't expect the noise to be THAT LOUD. Lucky Jul had experience and got us to buy ear plugs but I didn't manage to put them in my ears in time and so actually really heard the damn loud racing noise...
And then there were Backstreet Boys. Really fun to listen to the songs that I used to listen all the time when I was young and impressionable... Haha. Btw, the following 3 women irritated me till no end on that day durin BSB's concert... one kept raising her hand to block the lens of my camera, one sat on her boyfriend's shoulders so no one can see beyond her, and one kept pushing backwards and stuck her smelly hair into my nose =(

And Nick Carter is still damn hot. AJ has the best voice out of them. Brian is really funny... never know that he was such a funny guy. And Howie... I still dun think much of him. Ok, some of their song videos here..

Ok, Jul, Yiwen and Zoe gave me my birthday present and they gave me the MJ 5 CD collection but what they do not know is that I already bought that and his Number Ones 2 weeks ago! So now I got 2 exact copies of the MJ 5 CD collection... thinking of exchanging it to the newest Raymond Lam's CD but I am not sure whether can anot... shall try my luck. Anyway, should see Wen's and Jul's expressions when I said I bought the CD collection just before they gave me my present... it is like one of the most hilarious moments of this year for me... haha! Totally shocked...

On another matter, staff management is really hard... Appraisal is coming up soon, and I heard from my colleague that it will be a long and tedious process... not looking forward to it. Some people are just really hard to get through no matter how nice or how fierce you get. And some of them can get really defensive... and I realised that defensive and pushing the blame on others goes hand in hand. I should have known. I got experienced before... Sigh...
Will take leave on Wed, so my mum is bringing me out shopping. Main purpose is to get me a pink dress for my colleague/ friend's wedding because she asked me to be her 'sister'. But maybe can get other things along the way? Haha... Anyway, a picture of me and my colleagues...
By the way, in Aug when I went out with Da Jie, I saw this amazing pair of beige heels... it was 50++ bucks, which I was willing to pay. But I did not buy because it was too high for me... I actually took a picture of the shoes. Haha! And I am still thinking about it... Da jie asked me to buy and practise on it, but I still scared lah. I am sure I will not be able to walk normally but it is like my dream shoe! Sigh...
