Big David vs Little David

My favourite for this season is Carly Smithson, and so it shall be. But after she was gone from the show, I hope Big David will win the title.

But still, after today, after Little David sang Imagine (which almost make me cry), David A should be the winner...

And tml Carly is back with the others to sing! Yeah!

As some of u might know, my computer kena virus, 2 weeks after I sent for reformating... -_-''' Headache arh, everytime kena virus, and I don't even know where I got them from! So...

Anyway, my mum said today is 1 year anniversary from her Grasshopper 草蜢 concert... which I am amazed that she still remember... oh well. This time of the day I remembered we both enjoy the concert a lot... =)

Yes, I still watch Survivor. This is because I think as a reality TV show, this can be a really good "script" that was never written beforehand if there is enough drama. And this season is really good because of all the blindsides.

But now I know who won the current season of Survivor Micronesia le.

Irritating!

I always only want to know only when I am watching the show. I, like many others, never like to know the results before the show. But thanks to the US time difference and the different broadcast timing between Singapore and US, I now know who is the winner.

早知道不要看报纸了... 真是个很笨的决定....

Oh well. But she is a deserving winner, kinda like her from the beginning although I was rooting more towards the runner up. But then again, I am fine with whichever 2 wins because I supports both =)

I have been tagged by stupid Aiwei, so here goes...

1. At what age do you wish to marry?
Late 20s... because I believe that only then I will be a good wife and mother... plus I know myself. I must enjoy my unmarried life first before I am willing to become married and tied up... haha. I know it sounds like what a guy will say but to me it feel that way. Plus, the NUS palmist said that I should get married by 27, which I think is a good age to be married.

2. How many children do you want?
2 and that's it. Unless by accident... haha. But seriously, I want my children to have most of my attention and so having too many will not do. Plus, I dunno whether I can take the pain of labour.

3. What I want the most now?
I wanted so many things, like health, happiness, good job, good grades, good life, good boyfriend and husband, parents to be happy and healthy bla bla bla. I can't choose lah.

4. What do you want to be when you grow up?
Everything that I dreamt of... successful, happy, being loved... I recently dreamt of having my own wedding boutique. Not that I want to get married now but it's more of having my own shop, making people happy and being a wedding planner will be fun too. But then again, only when I am loved and married lah. If I am a single old woman, I dun think I can stand seeing lovey-dovey people getting married every other day.

But then again, my wish is to live another country. This has been nagging me for the past.... 4 years? I know, maybe because I haven't lived in another country for a long period of time but somehow or rather I feel that my destiny (not just love but my life in general) lies out there in another country waiting for me...

5. Who are you proud of?
My parents. My parents aren't that educated and we are not rich... but they tried to give me everything I wanted and more. They are willing to starve so as to give me what I want. The love they given me is so much till the point that I dun think I can ever return them.

Just for that reason, I never ever grumble that I can't do this or that because my parents are not rich. I know that they tried their best.

6.What are you afraid to lose now?
My parents again. They are much older than most of my friends' parents and logically speaking, I know I have to deal with losses much earlier than most of my friends although I hope not. They loved me too much and so I am worried that there will be a void in my love if that happens... I know I am selfish lah but I have no siblings and so I know that I may become alone if I haven't got married. It already pains me to see my mum and dad having body aches and bone pains after work...

7. If you meet someone you love, would you confess to him/her?
Same as aiwei's answer. Only when I am drunk.

8. What would you do when you're feeling down and depressed?
Cried, keep to myself, listen to music, surf net, try to forget about it and hope that the matter will resolve by itself.

9. What are the requirements that you wish from other half?
Haha.. so many of them. But one impt one is he has to make me feel comfortable and I can be myself around him =)

10. Which type of person do you hate most?
Wah so many sias... liars, cheaters, double-faced snakes, those people that make u feel unworthy. But the last one is that one I hate the most. Because I feel that way many times and I absolutely hate that feeling.

11. Do you cherish every single of your friendship?
Yes. It takes the right place, the right time and the right moment to know each other to be friends. What a question!

12. Do you believe in God?
Yup, because many times I feel that though I never been to church (except AHS mini church), sometimes whenever I silently pray to Him, many times things will be alright. Many little situations in life make me believe in Him. I believe He has been helping me.... situations such as when I last min study a chapter for exam in a sense of panic, there will be a question in the paper regarding that chapter =) and I always remember the details of that last min chapter. I believe that is the work of God.

13. What do you think is the most important thing in your life?
All sorts of love... humans are group creatures. I can't imagine life being alone....

14. Do you find it a necessary for you have a boyfriend/girlfriend?
Can't really answer that question yet... sometimes I find myself setting a standard way too high I think...

15. What do you want your friend to be like?
Someone like me!!! So that I won't be called crazy ALL THE TIME!!

17. If you have a change, which part of your character would you like to change?
My lack of patience and stubornness... caught me in many sticky situations in the past...

18. If you're feeling low one day, who will you go to?
No one. I keep to myself most of the time unless I am really unhappy.

19. If you can turn back time, when and why?
Back to AHS days, whereby I think I learnt the most and grew up the most. Back to those days whereby I failed my maths all the time, seeing my class guys reporting soccer scores in the morning, bitching about one of my classmates =) Back to those guiding days whereby we can stay to nighttime then we go home... the days of NCC and scouts and bb discussions... times whereby we enjoy so much fun. Those chicgok (and gok chic, chic chic, gok gok and what's not. Jul even drew a family tree on that!!!), monkey, rabbit, sparrow, computerface, LOW Low low and frog and all those stupid nicknames days.... Those were the days whereby u can't dun do homework and still get through sch... haha. And also my childhood days whereby I asked my mum stupid questions =)

20. If I can have a guy to have an one night stand with, who will it be?
There are more than one actually *grins* I am not loose or what ok! It's just that there are different guys with different reasons.

- Mr Darcy in Pride and Prejudice is one, like aiwei. I love him! He is loving, cool, MANLY, bla bla bla.... I think he will take charge =)

- Orlando Bloom. He is sweet like candy and MANLY too... I think with him, he should gentle and loving.

- Brad Pitt!! Come on! Who doesn't?!

- Raymond Lam 林夆. I admit it is due to my recent craze but then again as I said, he makes me believe in everything he said =) And he is cute =)

I had finally finished watching The Drive of Life aka 歲月風雲! In total, including 溏心风暴, I had watched 100 episodes of shows in 3 weeks of my hols! Haha, fulfilled my dream of show-watching. Thought 歲月風雲 wasn't as nice as 溏心风暴 but still my mum and I were at the edge of our seats from about epi 45 to the end because the evil plot was unfolding...

And I agreed with my hei jie, the love story of 荣秀风 and 华振邦 is really touching. They were together, spilt up due to circumstances, guy went off with another girl before realising they still love each other, then went through many other things to be together. And many of those scenes my fave 林峯 song will come up and play in the background... 林峯 is really the typical lover guy in dramas man... every time he looked at the female characters and said all sorts of promises I can actually believe them totally... hahahha. I think it's is probably just my own bias towards him that makes me feel that way.

I found someone who combines the best scenes of their love on youtube and I think hei jie will agree that those are really indeed touching scenes from the video...

These few days I have been slacking at home and out sometimes with friends and teaching tuition. Sounds boring but I really like this kind of life. Can't believe that I am actually starting my second internship next mon. To think have to wake up early again just sians me.... sighz. But Visa seems to have nice corporate culture. It doesn't seems to be a bad company to work in so I guess I am in good hands huh?

My mum really dotes me.... she went out with me on wed and bought hundreds of dollars of stuff for me!! Most of the stuff is what I need, eg shoes and outfits for work etc, so it's justifable!

The clothes...there is one white-yellowish top that I really like and it costs only $30++ after discount!

The shoes... the one in the Hush Puppies bag is the most expensive because it is real leather shoes that causes $130 I think...

One Carlo Rino bag that is on discount (more than 50%), one Pierre Cardin wallet (not mine but my mum bought it for herself), one Lancome mascara set and one Lancome lipstick (Lipstick is for my mum as her mother's day present. Wanted to get Chanel's rouge for her but she refused to try any of the colours because she said it's too expensive. In the end, the purchases we made at Lancome qualifies us to renew our membership and get small free gifts! )

Anyway, the induction programme I went on wed for Visa gave me a mini shock. Turn out that there is ANOTHER project to be done on top of my internship duties. *stunned* Dunno will have enough time anot. Stressed sia. Somemore need to do a big presentation at the end of the internship to Lord knows who... and we will have to meet the regional director of Visa or something like that... I can forsee that these 3 months I may be damn stressed lah...

Ok, I am rather lazy to blog now, so I shall leave u guys with all these. I think I shall end here... go and watch 歲月風雲 before having dinner. Ciao and cheerios!
