New Stuff!
I bought...
1. New lappy!
2. New MS Office!
3. New Anti Virus!
4. New pants!
Plus, I am going for a body massage with $50 off voucher from the gym I joined as a welcome package... plus another complimentary body massage from them as well which I can use next Jan.
Plus plus I won 2nd prize for the department party last thurs and I won a new camera! Would have preferred the first prize (the newest iPod nano) but oh well, I figured that a person should not be too greedy. Be happy with what you have.
So I Am Happy!
I am happy happy happy... but I am also fully aware of the amount of money that I have spent already.
Need to save! Cause I got a red bomb this sun!
And I think I am in love with muscle aches. I go looking for them to make myself feel good... I am really siao liao lah.
And I am having mild muscle aches from the sat's lesson... and I left halfway because my knees cannot take it! Imagine I went for the full thing... but now better. But most likely have to skip gym for the rest of the week le =(
Sigh, I can't control everything, can I?
But I hope I can get healthier soon. I hate feeling unhealthy!

Updates
I know I haven't been updating a while so ok...
My colleague is on long leave and I am her backup. And basically these few days a lot of things just came in and I had to take over... I have to vet the replies that were going out of the office, and there were so many of them that were urgent that I didn't even do my own work! All her work... I was grumbling the whole time man.
Other than that, a few things happpened and I was so busy that I don't even have time to sleep so kinda neglected my blog a little.
HL's Departure
Well, my good buddy in my dept finally decided to 'throw letter' last month and yesterday was her last day. I guess I kind of will miss her, but because of certain reasons, I was aware of the kind of relationships I was building in my department and the 'closesness' I want these relationships to be. But she is the only one I can talk freely to without worrying whether she knew about these news anot (because some news are confi from staff). Oh well, there will be more occassions like that I guess. Better get used to it.
Ce's Hens' Party
It was rather fun at the beginning, then dampened later. Started well, with all the sisters eating at MOF. We were planning to head to Epinox (no idea how to spell, but it was at swiss hotel) but there was no seats for us. Left for Clarke Quay, ended up at Zirca. First time at a club sia... but the music sux lah. Playing house and techno music the whole night till we got a headache! Ended up leave early to go home... so much for a bachelorette's party. But there were a lot of ang mohs in the club. So all sisters deduced that ang mohs like techno music... haha...

Ce's Wedding.
I was totally drained on this day. First time being asked to be a 'sister', so more things to do other than giving her an ang moh on her wedding dinner.
Her wedding was on a weekday, and I did not take leave for the day before because that is the day HL's farewell dinner was on. So, came home at 11.30pm and got to prepare for Ce's wedding and WAKE UP AT 4.30am to reach Ce's house at 6pm. I ended up bringing some of my makeup to her house because I was running late and too tired. And I incurred midnight charge for the cab I took to her house. Lucky she stayed in the east or else it would cost a bomb...
Tried to get as much ang bao as we can from the groom, then to groom's house in the west, back to Ce's house in the east before we can go home and rest. Then got to go out early because of her solomnisation, then to her suite to help her get ready, then to dinner then go home. Tired sia! Really not easy to be a 'sister'!
And I spent a total of $40 on cab fares that day... as much as I am a cab queen, I never spent so much money on cabs in a day. Freaks me out.
Lucky I took leave the next day too. I slept the entire afternoon away! Way way way too tired...

D&D
Nothing much on this, except that another good buddy of mine won $100 Isetan's vouchers at the lucky draw... damn shuang lo. Imagine the skincare I can buy with that money! But still, free food. Some pictures here.
Ok, I think these are the major events. Haha. Can tell that I was busy for the last 1 month...
Anyway, Sitex is on next week. Thinking of getting the kind of techy things I want and I have to drag Jul to go with me. Poor Jul. But she was nice enough to go with me. But will spend a lot sia so trying to save money now...
And I managed (for the first time in the year) to take just buses and no cabs for the entire wk! I know, I am hopeless. But I am glad that I achieved this! I hope I can do it for the rest of the year!
And and and... I signed up for gym! Finally! I was really tramatised that day when I realised that I signed off so much money at a go.. but now I am glad. I experienced plenty of muscles ache these days, and I am really happy about it cause it shows that I am really working out! But hurts lah... wearing heels to work has never been so painful. But today I went to their free fitness assessment and really, it freaks me out! I am damn unhealthy lah! But their programme also cost quite a bit... don't know whether I should sign up for it lo though I really want to lah. But got to think about money money money...
On top of that, got to think about buying another pair of track pants, sports bra, maybe a light breezy top for exercising. Wa a lot of money leh!
So if there are people who still want to give me birthday presents, give me isetan or those sporty shop vouchers can? It will help me a lot!
Haha, kidding lah.
But sigh, my pay really not enough sia. Haha.
Ok, I am going to sign off, because the post is long enough. I kind of wish I got more time on my hands, because I want to write something intelligent, and not something I did or going to happen. I need to see something that will inspire me to write something that pick people's brains. To prove that the thing in between my ears still work...

This Is It
Watched Michael Jackson's This Is It on its opening day with Jo. Did not regret it. It is some hell of a documentary and MJ is great even when he is only half singing and dancing for the rehearsals. And he still can freaking dance... some parts of smooth criminal when he was demo-ing to his backup dancers in his full strength and hello!?? He is 50 years old!
And his backup dancers were amazing. When MJ was not in the frame, all me and Jo can do is to stare at the dancers with our mouths wide open.
I still stand by my word. If This Is It was to made into a World Tour next year and he toured SG, I would have gone and seen it.
Anyway, was supposed to be doing my work now. But still...
Happy belated birthday mango!
Looking forward to my leave next thurs and fri. Though, I know that I will have to wake up at the crack of dawn on thurs...
