Marisa Miller

I was just looking at model pictures on the web, and looking at Victoria Secret on the web. Somehow or rather I click on random links of Marisa Miller (in case u are living under a rock, Marisa Miller is the newest addition to the VS model camp) and I saw this.

If you guys haven't click on that link, you should do it now. I was like SHOCK! Cool and extremely sexy picture of Marisa Miller...

Simply sexy.

Cheerios.

Dvd Galore

Today is one of the craziest days in my life. Me and my mum actually watched 溏心風暴 (Heart of Greed) from 12 midnight till 7am in the morning! We were at the last third of the show and seriously the plot is getting so much intense that we can't stop anywhere! We almost died of tiredness today!

We are left with only 2 episodes, and then I can call it a day and get my life back before starting on 歲月風雲 (The Drive of Life)...

溏心風暴 is really really good. Recommended for anyone who wishes to hog on http://www.tudou.com/ or have time to spare!!! Or maybe hope that channel 8 will have the show soon... U really can't stop.... and I was tearing like mad when Sheung Joi Sum 常在心 found out about Alfred's affair with her best friend, when 鮑飽 passed away and the worst was when Alfred died trying to help Sheung Joi Sum... Hei jie, thanks for lending me this series! I am hooked! U should watch it too soon! Anyway, there is a 溏心風暴 2! I am waiting for u to buy the dvds and lend me!

Anyway, really love this end song of theirs called 心領 by Linda Chung and Raymond Lam... Now is the current song on my blog...

REPEAT #

男: Never meant to be cruel, Never meant to hurt you...

Just another video of the two's relationship... and I love the accompanying song as well...

The video below has the song on my blog if u can 't listen to the song now...

Anyway, photos from yesterday's outing will be posted soon.

Cheerios!

American Idol - Carly Smithson

Rah... I got a heartache man. How come Carly Smithson can be eliminated on the night she brought the house down??!! I don't get it. How come the best two of the night can be in the bottom two while the one who did badly for 2 weeks in a row did not even land herself in the bottom??!!

Admittedly, I did not expect Carly to win the show. But I expect her to be in the top 5 at least.

Sorry arh jul, I know she's ur fave but I think Brooke White should be elminated this week. She did badly last week (she totally ruined the hero song for me) and she did badly this week. On the other hand, Carly was AMAZING last night. Rah...

Carly's top 12 performance

Carly's performance last night.

And I think Syesha can be declared "The Survivor of American Idol's bottomers" because I seen her in bottom two or three COUNTLESS times and she is still here!

Now I am rooting for David Cook. And if he doesn't win, then the viewers must be idiots!

And I am forseeing a all Davids finale. I thought that if Carly really up her game, at least she has a chance of upsetting that scenario but with her gone, that scenario is more or less fixed. The others don't have a chance...

Sighz...

Actually, just one note to add. I was really surprised at how Mariah Carey mentored the contestants. I meant, I told Irene the other day, I thought she will just give some very superficial comments and that's it but I think she really mentored them. Or maybe it's because they are singing her songs and so she can't risk them singing badly... in any sense, did anyone notice that the contestants only chose her early days songs? Proves that her early days songs are really better... but then again, the production team is really dumb as well. I mean, it's Mariah Carey's songs. Only people who have that 5 octave range can sing her songs lah! Ask the contestants to sing is like suicide but luckily it did not turn out too bad... =)

Anyway, my sem is now officially over. Marketing Research is ready for submission, and global marketing presentation was over. I was really surprised by how we weren't grilled AS MUCH for our presentation. The questions asked were at least.... answerable. Maybe we have backup for all the information we put in the report (the 50++ page appendix is really helpful...) Hope we can get good grades for that report as well...

And took pictures!! This group is really fun to work with! Except when Ivan just hands in him part a few DAYS late... but at least he treated us to BK because of this! Haha! Got free lunch! But really glad to know them... esp Hei Jie aka Aiwei who lent me her hk dvds!
The girls in the group...

Now add the only guy in our group...

Now with the professor...

And these days me and my mum were watching those dvds... till almost 5am in the morning before we succumb to the desire to sleep... It's crazy! Now we are watching 溏心風暴 and I think we only watch for 4 days and we completed 60% of the show already... I especially love the character 得得地 who is extremely funny! Love him! And Raymond Lam!

Anyway, just a thought to show everyone the pills that is keeping my face acne-free from the late nights of studying (and recently show-watching) and the lotions that is trying to reduce my pores and scars!

Ok, wish everyone who is studying for exams now all the best and jia you!

Cheerios.

End of the Sem... Almost

It's almost the end of the sem for me! No more quizes till next sem!!!

The Investment Analysis quiz is not as tough as I thought, but that is what a lot of people said. With that bell-curve thing, it is NOT A GOOD NEWS. Sighz. I will always be an average student in NUS without an A/A- to graduate... but Irene and I have the same feeling for this module. As long as we can pass, it is always nice. But I am hoping for a B- at least because I dun wan to get another C/C+ again!! Haha... we both tikam our way though the MCQs... and the ethics questions I wasn't sure... which proves that I am not a very ethical person. Haha!

One presentation to go... then market research paper... then it's over!

Time for a few photos... I haven't been uploading photos for a while le.

Here are the Asian Market photos after our presentation ( we were the first grp)

Me and Ashley... Look at how tall she is. She has to slouch and still looks taller than me! She is from San Diego and USC and I can tell that she really loves USC whenever she talked about it... USC apparently has a lot of students there who are competing as Olympians.. according to her, if USC is a nation, it would have been 11th in the world in terms of total gold medals earned.... which makes me think of Singapore and its olympian MEDALS...

Me and Anna from Sweden... she is really cute. Always drawing eyes on her notes =)

Me and Janie

All the girls in our group... 7 of us in total. Too bad Xiaoping closed her eyes...

All 7 of the girls plus one guy... Hahaha.. I am the only year 3 in the group...

Trying to do some funny faces!! Look at the guy's face!! Hansel's face always cracks me up in this picture!

Anyway, I am thinking of getting that chicken pox vaccine because I haven't got it before.... and I am going to get that "it's killing me" wisdom tooth out soon...

Cheers.

2 Down, 1 more to go!

Left with IA test le... supposed to feel happy but this is the test I worried the most actually... not to mention there is marketing research report due... with that guy in my grp, I worried we can't finish lah...

Sigh. Very nearly tikam my way through the paper today because I can't remember a lot of stuff. Plus, this morning was really hectic. Went out of my house early (because of the quiz), run after a bus, realised that I forgot to bring my phone just when my bus traveled one bus stop, took a cab back to my house, ran up my house to get my home, ran back down and after a bus again, ran to a train with 2 mins left, ran down to the taxi stand and CALL a cab for school.

This routine is not just waste time, it waste money too... about $15 of cab fare is gone just like that. Sighz!

Can't help it. Hope the test turned out well after this whole morning fiasco...

Anyway, was really surprised by 2 things. One, GE called me offering me an interview for Market Development internship. This really surprised me because I applied for finance audit internship ( I think so, but come to think of it I am not that sure of the title but it's a finance position) and they are offering me a marketing position.... but I have to reject it because I already had another internship on hand. Secondly, ran into yuxin and shenghong today. Shenghong totally can't recognize me until yuxin told him... the surprising thing was that he asked me whether my eye lashes are real ones or fake out of the blue (nothing related to the topic we were talking abt then...) -_-''' I don't even know to laugh or cry...

Anyway, Aiwei darling hei jie, if u are reading this, better prepared very very very well for our presentation. The prof literally grills u and asks about EVERYTHING....

Alright, cheerios. Have to get back to analysing market research data...

Unhealthy

I think that if one day I have to move to US or UK or those ang moh countries to live, I have no problems adapting to the time zones there.

Because I have been sleeping at 5am recently (almost everyday). It's ridiculous!

5am!!

I find myself able to study better from 12am to 5am. My brain, at this point of time, is like a sponge and I actually find myself starving of knowledge and want to read the tb more. I am perfectly wide awake at this period. To the point that I don't even want to go to bed when it's 5am. The only reason I go to bed is because my father wakes up at this time and he is going to shout the house down when he comes home from work later that day.

In the afternoon, I find myself nodding forward after I read like 2 pages of the tb.

And forget about morning. I was (and forsee that I will never be) a morning person.

Isn't it strange??

And I figured, since nothing is more important than studying these 2 wks, I shall sleep at 5am.

But it's unhealthy!! It's super unhealthy!! It's unhealthy unhealthy unhealthy unhealthy unhealthy.....

Plus, I haven't had the time to go running at all these days. And no Studio Wu as well....

I am totally killing my own body!!! I don't want to die young....

And with my internship coming up next mth, I must switch my biological clock back!

The global marketing quiz is a killer, a lot of them I never seen those terms before and some of them is I read but I forgot the actual answers already.

Now, the asian market quiz and investment quiz are coming up....

I can't wait for sat noon, whereby there are no more quizes and only 1 report deadline left...

Then it's back to my novels, HK drama from Aiwei hei jie, American Idol, shopping, tudou.com/ youtube.com, soccer, jogging...

And most probably leaving for Indonesia on 24 Apr for a few days for my grandma as well since it's like 1.5 years I haven't pray to her. My uncle recently placed her tablet (is that what that thing is called? The thing that we pray to at the altar at home?) together with my grandfather (who passed away 11 years ago) because my grandma is considered "young" because my grandpa passed away earlier than her so their tablets cannot be put tog at the same level. So, my mum wants to go back to have a look. But have to see whether my marketing research report is done because the deadline is 24 as well...

But recently I have been watching a couple of youtube vids... haha...

Look at 4.20. There are no more such sweet guy as Alec Su anymore now... But the video is a bit behind the audio here...

Haha. I was just reminded how good Sasha Cohen is and can be (esp love her spiral sequence and her layback spins) and how much I want to go to Vancouver in 2010 for Winter Olympics...

And I just realised I got a lot of things to buy... List of things I wanted to buy:

1. A novel called My Best Friend's Child. I read a few pages at Times Bookshop and I really love it... Also Where the rainbows end by Cecelia Athern.

2. Shoes, shoes and more shoes!

3. A new handbag. I broke (get this!) 3 bags at the end of last year and the beg of this year.

4. Thinking of getting eye cream actually...

5. New contact lens

6. Skincare stuff. Need to visit my doctor soon cos I am running low on certain stuff... eg my acne pills...

At the moment I can only think of these much...

And at one pt of time when I was studying, I realised that this marks the 10th year I have switched to english music totally. I know this is ridiculous, but I remembered switching to english music when I was 12. Obsessing over spice girls and 911... And I have never look back =) Except now... haha.

I must hold up! Just one week more!!

Jia you ferngrass!!

American Idol

I have been watching American Idol since channel 5 telecast the second season back in 2003...

Katharine McPhee is always my fave (in my opinion, the prettiest and most talented and having the most potential to shape into an idol), so is Clay Aiken.

Didn't like Carrie Underwood when she was competing (never get the idea why Simon liked her so much then) but like her a lot when she started to release good albums and great songs (really love her Before He Cheats... that's her best song to date in my opinion)

This year's idol bunch is really good. Recommended for those who don't watch idol every season. Trust me, it's really good.

My fave is Carly Smithson and David Cook! Really REALLY like Carly's voice. She is really the only one I can imagine buying her album after the competition. Simon actually said before that she has the best sounding voice to be recorded on album. She hasn't really gotten the habit of choosing the right songs and I am getting nervous for her! I hope she will get that habit soon, because I think she should be at least in the top 5!!

And David Cook! The most original contestant out of the lot. So far actually, I am thinking he is the one to beat in the competition... Fell in love with him big time when heard him singing Billie Jean...

Who can imagine that he is actually singing one of the Michael Jackson's classic?

**Spoilers Ahead***

But Michael John is out! Seriously wrong... should have been syesha in my opinion. Argh... I really like him though he is not exactly my favourite. But still!! Michael??!! WHY?? Wrong wrong wrong...

American Idol never fails to shock me at one point or another. But on the day when Idol Gives Back mood is still pretty much in the atmosphere, the shock came at the wrong time.

Sighz! Hope Carly and David can go all the way!!

Ok, back to global marketing... sighz =(

Incredible... incredible

I am not supposed to be blogging but here goes.

I got back my valuation report results. Did not do badly, but I think I am one of the lower tiers of the class when it comes to the score.. oh well, I did my best le. Ended up using dividend growth model to calculate the intrinsic value of the company, which turned out to be almost 3x the stock price listed on SGX. LOL. I think I was too optimistic with its growth, which shouldn't be the case given the subprime. So.... Must really do well for the quiz.... I really don't want to end up with a C with this mod. Maybe B- at least... pls!!

And there are 3 exchange students in my class with scores of 30, 29 and 29 out of 30 for that report... siao lah. Apparently, one of them is working for JP Morgan in London (he's a swedish). I think he is the one with 30 marks. And I found out that he has a gf of 6 yrs... haha. Not that I delibrately went to find out that info. Someone kepo told me k! Next time find bf must find like that one... not very handsome, not very rich now but DEFINITELY rich in the future... haha..

And global marketing report turned out to be 80 pages... 80! It's amazing! Hope that that report will give me a nice good grade because I really need it as well....

And I hope that I can end my duck by getting an A/ A- for a module for once... it's my second last sem and I really hope I can get it!!

Watching Idol Gives Back while typing this. I am really inspired actually, especially with all the songs that the artists choose to sing. It's amazing. I almost cried at one pt of time. And I started wondering, why isn't singapore doing some kind of charity like Idol Gives Back? Idol Gives Back tries to raise money for children (poor, sick, bla bla bla). But u think about it, Singapore has no charity shows that really helps children (I think). It's all the sickness (cancer, heart disease, kidney...). I seriously think that the children here needs more help...

But I kinda like the Idol gives back show though. Love Fergie's performance (I was never really a big fan of her) and I especially love the song that Mariah Carey sings (Fly like a bird). She is the best singer for that song, but I think her performance last year at grammys is better... I remembered the reaction when Teri Hatcher came out after her performance... "I feel like we all have been just saved"...

Although I wish that she tones down her sexiness for her music videos...

Ok, better go back to studying and more work... 3 more quizes... Global marketing text is super sian... I hate studying for it. Everytime will fall asleep when reading for more than 15 mins...

The only remedy to keep me awake is Raymond Lam (Lin Feng)'s song (the song on my blog)....

Sighz.

I don't know what the hell

I don't know what the hell happened...

My computer has been sending out links on msn when I am offline. But I am not the one doing it!!

Everyone is telling me that I am having some sort of virus in my computer. But I scanned twice and nothing comes out! But I admit, I have a lot of those 'wares' thing in my computer (adware, spyware, malware). Some of my friends thinks that it should be those wares things causing my msn. But I am seriously worried...

I removed those wares things fully yesterday. Run two types of program to remove all of them. Even cookies. So I hope that the msn thing is due to those wares things and not a virus!! And hopefully everything is fine!

Just a note of caution, pls dun click on those links ever if u still see it!! It's not sent by me! And send me an offline msg if u still get it when I am offline.

Can someone help me on this? Cos I know nuts about computers and this thing is actually worrying me. I probably need to get a good computer person to help me. Who can help me?

Thanks and cheerios.
