Ok about the concert proper...

Some things that I understand in cantonese of the concert:

1. Aaron was stopping for a small chat after about 40 mins of non-stop opening. He said he was sweating, and he wants to wipe off his sweat.

"抹抹脸上的汗先。。。抹抹眼上的汗。。。抹抹头发上的汗。。。抹抹腹部上的汗。。。抹抹胸上的汗。。。还有！！抹抹背上的汗。。。"... something like that lah.

2. Aaron and the butterfly. He wore this jacket that has a 3D butterfly on his top left sleeve. He said something about gay then said something like " My jacket even got a butterfly" and started talking to the butterfly. Which I tot is kinda funny..

"蝴蝶，你好吗？"
(to the audience) "Sorry, jetlag." (meaning the butterfly jetlag so no answer lah... )
"和观众说 hi 。。。。嗨！没反应！不说了!"
I can't re-act the way he said this but it was very funny...

3. He got this stage that hung in the midair. He said about getting up to that stage (which was level on the main stage) “这个舞台不可以走上去。这个舞台要用跳!"

4. He asked，“你们要快歌还是慢歌？”“快！！”then he said A LOT in cantonese that I don't understand.... trying to explain he is going to sing slow songs I think. Then he asked the audience whether he can sing slow songs anot and the audience screamed "YES~!!!" The he said this in cantonese that I understand.

“刚才还说要快歌？这么快就改注意？”

5. A lot of fans got him flowers and toys and they got the security to pass to him... He was looking at one of the toys (a very cute bear) and said (something like this, this I really not confirmed) " So many? I can donate to charity already..." Then his team of people kept passing him flowers at that moment... he kept taking them. At one point, his facial expression was like "Again? Never ending flowers arh?" which was funny... then the last bouquet was very small with RED ROSES... He started humming the wedding march and said, “可以结婚了。”

6. He was taking a small break and drinking water. He held out the bottle of water and said, “你们要吗?" And everyone screamed...

7. He was blowing his saxaphone but he couldn't get it perfect for about 4 times. The first time he got it wrong at the middle of the tune. After finishing one section, he said (something like this) to the saxaphone, “不要这样对我..." The second time it was the first note that was wrong. He blew many many times, not giving up and determined to get it right. The last time was the best but still not perfect. He said, “不吹了！下次演唱会再吹！这样你们下次会再来！你们会再来我的演唱会吗?"

8. He ended the concert without an encore. The whole crowd was screaming "Encore!! Aaron!!" but he didn't come out (not like Grasshopper, who encored 3 times). Instead, he kept peeping outside and kept sticking out his hand and waved to us goodbye. The "peeping" was really funny cos he made funny faces when he stuck his head out. And because he kept doing that, we don't want to leave!! The people there have to keep playing the ending message to tell us that there will not be any encore.

It ended at about 10.45pm. Grasshopper's ended at 11.30pm. =)

That is why I said I prefer Grasshopper's a little more. But both were very good!! Especially the dancing!! I love the dancing!!

Something like that... as I said, I couldn't understand cantonese much. I only learnt 1% of it since Grasshopper's May concert... should be impressive since in may I know nothing right??

I was recording his classic " 对你爱不完" (which was the opening!! And it's in hip hop version!!) when I was caught filming by the securities!! Shit lah... the dancing was amazing. So only left the imcomplete version. So wasted.

And many other videos that I took cos I think his dancing is damn awesome... but I don't know the song titles!! I shall find them before putting them on my blog..

And there is this guy who is obviously his biggest fan cos he knows how to sing almost every song la. He was singing along with him and quite loudly too... in chinese and in cantonese. And he screamed very loudly for him when needed.

And there is this girl sitting in front of me who looks like she is CRYING every time Aaron is singing. I couldn't be sure about the crying thing cos obviously I only saw her back but her body position looks like it... plus when she left her seat at the end of the concert her eyes were red...

And there was this group of girls screaming non-stop with "AARON!!" whenever needed...

So Aaron really has a lot of die-hard fans huh??

I bought this dvd boxset at the end of the concert. The person said it is not avaliable for sale outside... hmm... I wanted to buy one outside for some keepsake so I bought it lo. But it's not cheap ok!! Spending so much money till I really heart-pain le...



Was thinking if there is an AARON's cap I will buy that and forget the idea of the Cao Meng cap... but only got his albums and cds and dvds!! So the Cao Meng cap is still on my wishlist...

But that will be the ONLY thing I buy for him... I am not going to sweep his every single thing... not the way I did for Grasshopper...

Actually, there is nothing bad about going to concerts alone. Sure, u will feel a little weird. And no one to share your thoughts during the concert. And no one to high with u. But it's ok. U still enjoy yourself in the end... and freedom to do what u like (eg chasing the star at the end of the concert, taking ur time to buy whatever concert things after the event, to go there at what time... bla bla bla)

Best of all, you can get a better single seat than a double seat!! =) U people can try going concerts alone next time...

I have accomplished going to movies and concerts alone... what should I try the next time??

Anyway I took a stadium direct bus and 293 back home!! No cabs today lahz!! I damn happy cos I saved money!! Must save money le cos I spent a lot of money on concerts this yr alr!!

And yesterday I only took a cab from bedok to tampines so I saved quite a bit too!! I very happy!!

MUST START SAVING MONEY!!!

Sighz... should sleep soon. Should do work soon. But I am too high to do anything... shit...

Got so much to do tml.

But I am happy!! Glad I went for this concert!!
