Quick Updates
Ok, I badly need updates....
I am officially ending my internship this fri. To tell u the truth, I am tired. I started work 1 day after my speed-tuition takes a break. I long for the carefree and 'sleep late late watch tv late late' life. But I had to admit, there are some things I will miss about my internship.
- How J will walk into the room and say "How's everything?"
- How we rushed for presentations and brain-storming on ideas
- How our boss WC grilled us about our presentations and recommendations and deadlines
- How the entire floor of interns and temps got on to 1 mass chat window and start talking all sorts of stupid things till the point that the window is moving too fast to catch... (we talked about 'rubber' before)
- How everyone ask me to shut up when I started singing Grasshopper's songs
- How we had to wait for one another to finish their 'urgent' work before we can head for lunch.... and then had to decide to eat when we reached the first floor
- How we headed to the Rec Club every lunch and zoomed to the table soccer table
- How I let in a lot of own goals and trashed by Cheyenne and Vivian
- How all sorts of interns and temps streamed into the room for food
- How everyone goes out to seminar rooms and get the leftover buffets
- And a lot more...
I have been extremely lucky to get this internship. It was tough, but the people there were great. It makes it so much easier, so much more fun. =)
The stupid jokes we had and the times we had been through... it's funny to think back.
I did learn stuff. Useful stuff. Thank goodness this internship is not all about "saigang". I can imagine these skills being useful to my work life.
And it's good to be working with intelligent and nice bosses who understands how we interns are totally ignorant and are tools to be polished.
And new friendships are made... hopefully it will last some time.
It's been totally awful at times but...
IT HAS BEEN GREAT TOO.
Can't wait for 3 aug for another mass gathering of us again... 13 of us again. LOL.
