GRASSHOPPERS CONCERT!!!

Super high from the concert la. My ears are ringing so badly after the concert because the music was very very loud!! At first I had my little regrets after buying the tickets because after all, it's $200 gone. I wasn't sure whether I made the right choice of going anot. But now, no regrets!! It was a fabulous concert, with a little flaws in my opinion.

They sang many songs, a lot of them where I don't know la. Some songs that I know are like 半点心，爱恋她的代价， 宝贝对不起，失恋，失恋阵线联盟，我们，忘情森芭舞，爱不怕，Lonely, Forever... haha.. A lot of them in cantonese. I think only 爱恋她的代价， 宝贝对不起 and 爱不怕 are sung in mandarin. The rest in cantonese. They spoke in cantonese too, so I had to ask my mum to translate so many times. Lucky got her man...

Some funny parts of the show.. remember that I don't know cantonese so all depends on my mum's translation and her cantonese not very gd either... so the following is not exactly correct.

Part 1:
Shu Zhi Wei or Edmund (the skinny guy) had a hairstyle that had all his hair in the middle to stand up. Sort of like a mohawk. Halfway through the concert his hair couldn't stand anymore!! He kept trying to keep it standing when they paused for a conversation. Yi Jie (the handsome guy) or Remus was laughing at him and said something like "the more you touch it, the worse it's getting." So they got the hairstylist to come on the stage and spray some hair products.. then the hairstylist tried to run off the stage. Remus was running after him and said, "How can u run off the stage like that without saying hello?? No manners!!", causing the guy to run back up and said hello...hahaha

Part 2:
At the early part of the concert, Remus was saying something like " When the fans tried to stand up to dance when they hear we singing, the security was like 'Sit down!! Sit Down!!" How to sit down when listening to Cao Meng??" Hahahaha... then someone said "Get the security to dance lo!!" hahaha...

Part 3:
After one song Remus saw someone (my mum said it's a guy but we not sure) walking back to his seat. It was at the side of the stage. He's probably off for a toliet break. Then Remus said something like this "Where have u been?? I was singing just now did u listen?? Where did u go??" Everyone in that section was looking at that guy, causing Remus to say "DOn't look at him la!!" I think he is trying to spare the guy with embarrassment...

Part 4:
Edmund asked, "Do you guys understand cantonese? I know most ppl here speaks Chinese 国语。。。" Then someone (can't remember who) said " Your cantonese already not accurate already, let alone chinese!!"
Part 5:
Remus was trying to get Edmund to strip his jacket. It went something like that.... He said something like "Girls like to see 6 pecs!! 6 pecs!!" After he stripped, Remus stripped his jacket too and then they both tried to get Calvin Yi Zhi (the long hair guy) to strip. Calvin was like "不要搞我！！拜托拜托！！" Hahaha...

Part 6:
Edmund said, "The last time we had a concert in Sg was 11 years ago.. all of us are... no longer young anymore." Remus said, "Only u only la!!" Edmund said," What? U always 30 years old meh??" Remus said," I am always young..." Hahaha...

Can't remember la... a lot of jokes. Hard to bring out the funny element here. Only can understand the comical value behind it if u see them in person. They made funny faces that complements the jokes...

They sang for 3 hrs!! They said that they don't know how long later will they be able to stage another concert. Scally they had to wait for 11 years so they decided they might as well sing all the songs they have. So it ran for 3 hrs!! Wah!! (Someone at this pt said they hoped to have a concert every yr. Then another guy said every month!! Wahahaha..." )And there is a section of the concert whereby they had 2 long medleys of fast songs!! It lasted about 20 mins!! Everyone was so stunned after they finished it because it was almost non-stop singing and dancing!!
But I was slightly disappointed on a few counts. I felt that they should have sing more mandarin songs, esp those songs that are famous. And maybe they should have tried speaking more mandarin because I think a lot of others don't understand cantonese like me...
But it's a gd concert. Got live singing, dancing and jokes. Lasted longer than expected. I just wished I had more money so that I can afford the most expensive tickets for my mum and I... oh well. At least I get to watch them.
Anyway, Jeanette Aw, Shu Zhi Cheng Calvin, Zhou Chong Qing and Tauflik was there at the concert too!!

What would my third concert be?? Makes me wonder...
Btw, Christina Aguilera is coming to Singapore on 30th June for a concert too!! But her concert tickets are damn ex!! Ah!!

They got a fan to dance with them onstage.. this is when Edmund and Calvin was dancing with her... The girl was actually quite pretty...

The grasshoppers actually went down into the audience and mingled with them... obviously not in my section la cos we sitting damn far away.. but I can see they created chaos in that premier section... Remus is circled in yellow....

I also bought a set of stuff after the concert... If you have been to concerts, you guys will know that there is always a booth outside the concert hall that sells stuff that are likely not to found out in the markets... so I bought this DVD set (4 dvds inside) with a CD and with it comes along an autographed poster and a lanyard/handphone chain... So these are the pictures...
