Ok, I should talk about internship.

As everyone who read my blog know, I went for an interview last fri. Most of you thought I got the internship from that interview (as least, that is what I presumed). But no, it is not. Let me get back to the beginning.

I know that I screwed up that interview and hence I sort of know that that company would not selected me. But this internship I had now was a surprise. BBA career office called me a couple of times on thurs but I did not pick up becos I did not hear my phone ring. But I got an email from that office telling me that I got the internship from a company that I had applied LONG LONG LONG ago. I was like HUHZ? How come I got the internship? And when the person from BBA called me on fri, she told me that the company offered me the internship. WITHOUT INTERVIEW. I was super shocked. I accepted it and hence, I am starting on next fri.

Actually, they wanted me to start on Mon 7 May but I can't because my tutee got exams and I had agreed to a extensive tuition for that wk. Anyway, it was stated that the internship starts on 14 may. But the company actually agreed to wait for me. The person in the BBA career office called me and make me so stressed. She said that I was very lucky because previously they selected from a rigorous interview sessions and selections. They also wanted scholars. I was neither. She told me to go and read up on the company and my duties because they agreed to wait for me till fri. I was like, OMG... what had I land myself into??

I am very happy that I am going for this internship. Actually, I was prepared to run to job agencies next wk for temp assignments. At that pt of time (before I was offered this internship), I still don't know whether I should take up an internship or a temp job. At least now, I don't have to worry about looking for temp jobs or internships anymore. But I have to be selective in what I buy because I am not paid a lot for this. So no shopping spree this 3 months hols!!

The only slight regret I had is that another company called me for an interview after I accepted this internship. This company's internship is the one that I really wanted because this is a pure marketing internship. But sighz, I had already gave my word. Plus, this company is only asking for an interview. But there is a small possibility that I may have gotten what I wanted... sighz.

So internship story over. In a nutshell that is not exactly short. So now I have to read up on this company and other stuff... so stressed now.

Anyway, Spiderman 3 was awesome!! Good fighting sequences, gd story, gd everything!! Plus I think Tobey is getting cuter and cuter. I can't wait for all the next blockbusters... Here is my list:

2. Shrek 3
3. Fantastic 4 (CHRIS!!)
4. Ocean's Thirteen (I don't even know who to scream for... there is Brad, Clooney and Damon here)
5. HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX (of course la right?? I am a big fan!! I just hope the movie is not VERY CUT given that this bk is the thickest harry potter's bk to date)

I can't remember the rest... I named the above off the top of my head. Btw, I still haven't pre-order the harry potter book because I am still waiting for better offers to come along... LOL...

I better go. I still got so much to say but I haven't got the time. Had to rush out for a while and I haven't bathe!! Maybe will blog tonight.

I might as well throw in the best performance from last week's American Idol... BLAKE!!! His rendition of "You Give Love a Bad Name" was amazing...
