Arh well, I am also trying to load Brothers and Sisters' latest episode (which is extremely slow), so can pass time while doing this.
For Makeup Removers, I am using
1. Loreal Deep Cleansing Oil Makeup remover. It is in a purple bottle.
2. Clarins One Step Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser
3. Maybelline eye makeup remover. The 2 layer solution.
4. Lancome BI-FACIL eye makeup remover
I interchange makeup removers as and when I want to use it. Loreal for lazy days, Clarins for not so lazy days. Clarins cleaners have this very fine beads to exfoliate which is very comfortable and not drying on skin. Suitable for oily/ combi skin. Can use everyday and even use scrub after using it. I wanted to buy the Pure melting gel that Jie is using, but the BA told me to use this because it is more suitable for combi skin.
Maybelline and Lancome MU remover are so so. Felt that M doesn't really clean expensive mascaras that well but cleans its own mascara rather well.
Interested:
1. Shu's Cleansing Oil. After I finished my Loreal, which is very good in the sense that it can remove waterproof mascara (even those stuborn ones). Good for lazy days. But Huiteng said it is not in production anymore... Got to check.
Tried:
1. Bodyshop Camomile Waterproof MU remover. Not bad, can remove my Chanel mascara (that I bought last year) But cannot remove my MM mascara.
2. Bodyshop Seaweed Facial Cleaner (as MU remover). Totally useless. Cannot remove MU well because I tried rubbing cotton pad over my face after using this and still see lots of MU on the cotton pad. Useless as a facial cleanser too cos toner will remove lots of dirt after cleaning my face with this.
Cleanser
1. Clarins Ultra Foaming Cleanser. Squeeze a bit and lather, and can get a lot of foam which is enough for your whole face. Very clean feeling without feeling dry. Thought foaming cleansers will be very drying on skin but it does not feel my skin feeling dry. The best (and price worthy) cleanser I used.
Tried:
1. Clarins gentle foaming cleanser. Good for senstive skin, but I dun feel that it cleans my face enough. Haha...
Scrubs
1. My doctor's scrub. Which is really strong.
2. Clarins Gentle Exfoliating Refiner. Very good and the bits are really fine.
3. Galenic Exfoliating Gel. Haven't try yet.
Tried
1. Lancome's Clarte Scrub. Can't remember the exact name. It is actually the best scrub I have used. Will revert back once I finished what I have right now.
Interested
1. Clarins Whitening Scrub. Dunno the exact name. I want whitening! Haha... and the BA showed me before and it looks really good...
Toner
1. Clarins Toning Lotion for oily/ combi skin
2. Clarins Water Purify One Step Cleanser for oily/ combi skin (got them in free gifts)
Usually use the toning lotion. Very fresh feeling. Contains no alcohol. But the One step cleanser can act as a mild cleansing lotion (without rinsing with water) but I normally use it as a toner. Keeping one small bottle now to use for travels in future.
Serum
I used my doctors' serum so no point putting it here unless u see the same doctor as me and wanted the same thing. But I use a CE serum (for vitamin C and E) and VA serum (for vitamin a).
Interested to try:
1. Clarins Multi Active Essence
2. Clarins Pore Minimising Serum
Moisturisers
1. Clarins Ultra rebalancing lotion (oily skin). The rebalancing lotion can be used for day and night and it is one of the lightest moisturisers I have ever used. I prefer light moisturisers because for day time I hate to have oily oily face... Smells quite nice, and it's not very expensive.
2. Clarins Multi Active Night Lotion. Night lotion is nice smelling and very light yet still moisturing enough for night time. But this is super expensive lah... I bought this at $107.
3. Clarins Multi Active Day Cream. Day cream is much oiler but still manageable. Go it as a sample size (15 ml) and can last me for close to 2 months.
Tried
1. Clarins Whitening lotion (don't know the exact name). Too oily for me.
2. Clarins hydraquench cream gel. Dun like the smell.
3. One Biotherm sample (can't remember the name though but jul knows). It contains alcohol so never continue with it.
Eye Cream
1. Clarins Eye Contour Balm for fine lines. I am more concerned about lines than dark circles, so I totally did not buy any eye cream for dark circles. This eye cream is okay. I tend to like more water based eye cream so I like this one. And it is good for day time use too.
Masks (some, but not all)
1. Clarins Pure Radiant Mask. One of my best masks. Tighten pores and really give radiance to face.
2. Clarins Intensive Whitening Mask. The other best masks. Really whitens your face and scars.
3. 我的美丽日记 red wine mask. Not bad. Whitens well too. Smells nice.
4. Laneige Water Sleeping Pack. Haven't use yet.. Haha... But it is only 28 bucks for me... =)
5. TFS Rasberry Sleeping Pack and eye mask. I prefer the sleeping mask. Emergency mask for me when I don't have time to put any other masks and really repairs my skins when it really bad. Eye Mask is just ok.
6. Laneige Star White Intensive White Eye Mask. Mask sheets are too dry. Not effective for me.
Interested in trying the Oxymask, especially after the review I saw on Jie's blog... And also, Kose's black mask =)
I am going to re-try sun block once I finish some of the products because right now I simply have too many products on my hands...
Ok, I guess this is all. Realised that except for serum, I have clarins in all the other categories... Haha...
Anyway, I am going to Aaron Kwok's concert with jul and her bro! Haha, and I think I am skipping Grasshoppers. Really dun have spare cash for it... and I think Aaron's has a bit more exciting stuff going on than theirs so I chose Aaron's...
And PCD is coming in June! Dunno want to go anot...
Cheerios!
Depending on the brands of the products, the pictures can be found within the websites of Clarins, Laneige and The Face Shop.
