Anyway. got so many meet up these days that it is burning a hole in my pocket... Got the one with NUS people, which everyone was happy for Angelynna and with everyone hearing her story with mixed reactions. Haha. But poor Linda darling. I was supposed to find the price of this jumpsuit which cost SGD2000 in Beijing and SGD1600 in HK. But we weren't able to find the store because it has been moved... So basically, I dragged Linda from Ngee Ann to Scotts then at last to Paragon where at least the Maxmara store is located... Thanks Linda! It was very nice for someone to thug around the whole of Orchard Rd in that kind of heat.
This is the picture of the jumpsuit... I think there is a white tank top underneath so you can't really see carefully. U guys can judge whether it is worth the SGD1319 in Singapore... picture link here.
Met up with Jie yesterday... shall try to drop the "da" because she doesn't want to sound old... Had branch, watch movie (confusing The International), play at arcade and shopping! And she bought chocolates for me! I assumed they are from Swiss because she just came back from Zurich. It's so nice to talk to someone who is not in the midst of office environment, to see things from a different angle. And to crap with her bf... haha. Will miss her when she is flying! =)
After working a few months, I really understood the difficulty of my job. Being in my position is not easy, because in school, even in CCAs, no matter what you have done before, can never prepare you for this. The truly sandwiched feeling is very hard to bear with sometimes. But still! I know it is good training for me, and I am sure I will come out from the other side of the tunnel being proud and smarter.
On a lighter side, there is a horrible office bug floating around! Almost half of the people were missing on thurs or fri and I am like chewing on vitamin C pills frantically in hope that the bug won't come to me! Sigh...
Anyway, I am still trying to read Pride and Prejudice, but as I told Linda, the way of reading is much more different than the modern writing, so I am reading more slowly in order to fully understand the story...
I should end now, because I wanna watch the Stars Awards in peace. And btw, I think the alarm thing to warn the award winners to wrap up their speech because I think it is irritating. Not to mention it stiffles the humourous part that used to be part of the show...
Cheerios.
