Updates
Hmm, these few days I dunno what I should write for my blog.
Finally gotten ill in the weekend. Had been trying to feud off the virus for the entire week but to no avail. Almost run a fever on fri (my temp was 37.3 degrees already and would have been higher if I haven't took 2 panadols at a go...)... now feeling so much better! At least I gather enough strength to blog.
Work has been okay busy. Trying very hard to change the world (hidden meaning intended).... which involves working with other group members to write a report and have a presentation next tues. It's a pain in the butt sometimes, but that project makes me learn a lot. Now I really know how the payment industry works and lots of stuff that goes behind the scenes...
These few days I have been hearing Singfest so much around my boss that it really itches me and makes me wanna go. In case you guys haven't heard, The Pussycat Dolls are coming to Singfest too, on sun. Which means now the sun tix of $200 is now damn worthwhile with Jason Mraz (AC is going to go crazy here...), Alicia Keys, Panic at the Disco... and if we use the Visa card it is going to be $180 only. But I hate the standing part of the concert, plus, though $180 for so many artists is not expensive, I am still holding back. If AC really wants to go, then I shall decide. Meanwhile, I am going to sit on the fence for a very long time.
Internship is going to end in 2 weeks time. I am looking forward to the end of it (because that means I can start sleeping really late), but still a little sad at the same time. 2.5 months is long enough to make good friendships and my boss and colleagues, amidst of all their jokes, took care and look out for me. Learnt different stuff as compared to the other internship, but it's all worthwhile. Somemore I am finally getting used to the routine of going to work... oh well. Another 1 semester more and then I am really going to the real working world...
Anyway, working makes me see so much of other people. Some people don't really know what privacy means. And some people just take advantage of you... it's really unhappy to see such people around and sometimes it makes you wonder how come these people can make you sound like a total bastard/ bitch.....
Btw, lot of my friends have their convocation already. Feeling a little sad that I wasn't with them, but still I am glad that I made the right choice of staying back one more sem for my double major. From the moment I made up my mind to pursue it, I knew I did not make the wrong choice. I am glad that for once, I choose to listen to my heart and go for it. I remembered someone said the other time "Marketing and Finance? Wow, that's hot property in the market right now!" Next jul, shall take lots of photo with Irene (and freda and jiaxi) and the rest who stayed back another year to complete their doubles and honours
Some people are already leaving the company for school... My dear Min Min left last fri. I only know her during the Regional President dialogue, but somehow we clicked with each other so much. It's just chemistry I guess. I am already missing her... dunno how to survive without her in my last 2 weeks...
