Finally Brazil is out of World Cup!!! All thanks to France and Zidane's Co...Open Contest for all remaining countries now I think...It's going to be intense and massive competition...

But England out!!! Arghz...at quarter-finals again...at penalty kicks...to Scolari's team. They are simply not breaking their duck isn't it?? It is so sickening and so heart-breaking and so nerve-wrecking to watch the game...but ultimately the depleted team lost. To see John Terry cry, to see Steven Gerrard and Becks dejected...Rooney kenna sent off again, like for the dont-know-how-many time...He kinda nv learns his lesson doesn't he?

But all credit to Owen Hargeaves. He had a great World Cup. Scored the only penalty goal for that match...Nv tot of him much at 1st, but he pleasantly surprised me. He is a great player...

And his curls are kinda cute too. (=

I may hate Portugal after beating England. I haven't decide whether I should hate them anot. But I definitely dislike Ricardo the gk. I always nv like him.

Zidane had an amazing game. Simply fantastic with the ball. France totally deserves to win the game...But still kinda heart-wrenching to see Brazil sad faces...Kaka, Ronaldinho...but their defending has been sloppy at times. They deserves to lose the game.

The better team won.

And since we are at the topic of South Americans, let us move on to the North Americans. The Americans just doesn't get the game huh? They are still not watching the 'beautiful game'....and to think that they had the idea of 'sporting isolationism'...and perhaps like that idea as well...

My fave is Germany now(as like many others), and I hope they win the World Cup becos they had been great...

And I put my fave german player Miroslav Klose as the golden shoe winner (= And hope that it's a France vs Germany final. It would be fun.

Oh well. Another week more before the end of world cup. Another few days of sleepness nights. But perhaps I think when it's all over I may have some withdrawal symptoms again...Because I kinda think that the World Cup is ending too soon...

But for now, it's soccer mania!!! Enjoy while it lasts!!!

Anyway, I saw this on youtube and I thought I will share. I saw this advert 4 yrs ago at the 2002 world cup...at that point of time the pre-pregnant, pre-sexy, pre-kelvin Britney Spears is still the spokeperson for Pepsi. So there is this mtv/advert thingy...which has a couple of soccer players in it. Watch it if u interested...
