I watched pride and prejudice and one phrase: I love it. It was so good! The witty humour and the romance that was built slowly into the story. I always love these english period movies. Too bad there was not many. I once watched this (I think) german version of cinderalla. It was awesome as well. The drew barrymore version(ever after) was not bad. I like The Man in the Iron Mask as well. The girls are always so funny, so pretty. It's all about corsets, dresses, sewing, cooking, ribbons and meeting the right man to marry. The men are always so gallant, charming, witty, with "ladies 1st" attitude, polite and loves their families. I know I am stereotyping, but the movies always show them like that. Their way of speech is great and I love it. They talked in a mind-boogling manner but sometimes it's so hard to understand them because their speech is different and with the english accent, it's no wonder. Also, the men spoke in a really polite manner. There is no f words or curse words. It's so unlike the men nowadays and I carve for them. Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with the f word. I just dun like people using it in front of me, esp men. Curse all you like, but leave the f word alone. There was 1 time when a guy almost used that word in front of me, but he switched it midway through the word. It was lucky of him or else I would have ratter in front of him....

Anyway, go watch it if u people can. Keira Knightley was awesome. It makes u believe in true love. It makes u believe in fate. It makes u believe that true love is worth waiting. It's fabulous but u must pay attention to the subtitles. My friend was saying she needs english subtitles to understand better...so be prepared. Get your reading glasses!!!

This is really stupid. I woke up in the middle of the morning to watch my fave soccer team playing,with the propects of being late for a meeting with my friend and not having enough sleep. Convinced that we will win, I did not mind the sacrifice. What I had was disappointment. I carried it to bed with me.

Man Utd out of europe. Totally. Not even uefa cup. Last in the group. To me, this is unacceptable. We are talking about Man Utd, not some ulu club like....tampines rovers(??Do they count???lol).This is one of the biggest clubs in europe, with its first team sprouting international players. Playing 10,000 pounds per week for a player. The club with one of the most loyal fans all over the world. The MOST famous club in Asia. The club name that still send chills down the opponents' spines...the club that other big cl ubs are worried about and view as a threat. Enough said? It's horrible, to watch them losing the damn ball, to see them getting wrong footed, being frustrated. I was sitting up all the time. I was never sleepy. Seriously, I was really disappointed in Ronaldo. Sure, it was really funny seeing him spinning 2 rounds and throwing tantrums at the referee, but that's all he do actually throughout the game. And he pointed the middle finger. Where is the dangerous sprints towards the goal line?? Rooney for once looks like a well-behaved toddler beside him.

I can accept that the previous few matches man utd played badly because they have injury list as long as from tampines to tuas. I can accept that the roy keane saga throw them off their feet for a while. I can accept that they performing badly under the pressure of critics and press. I can even accept the fact that they are unable to play football when the club's greatest player had just passed away. But I cannot accept the bad way of playing, the easy manner of losing the ball, the tantrums thrown on the pitch, the bad sportmanship and the way they have played so badly on the most crucial night whereby the fate of them going to knockout stages and their international careers and their manager's career of 19 years are on the line. I cannot accept that. It's really hard to swollew.

Still, I am hereby cursing Benfica. Hope they gets steamrolled by another england team...perhaps chelsea or liverpool can do the dirty work for man utd. I know, Man Utd deserved to be out of europe given that they played so badly, but I am a fan of man utd. Some of my fave players are in that team. I am a girl and a girl is most of the time, non-sensible. I am no noble person who will stay indifferent about this situation and say something sensible. I will be biased. I am biased. I will pray, hope, wish with all might that benfica get flattened, steamrolled, crushed in their next champions league match. And trust me, I'll be laughing then.
