Harry Potter
Watched Harry Potter on thur...and it was not a bad movie, but I am a little disappointed. I expected a lot of parts are cut off, but it was like TOO much. I know the story by heart(well almost), and it's like there are so many interesting parts are cut off. Some parts are modified as well, to cut running time and perhaps even casting fees?? Harry got the gillyweed for the second challenge from Dobby the house-elf, not from Neville. I dun even remember reading Dumbledore being so strong...able to push Harry forcefully and stuff. The movie Dumbledore is too strong...he seems commands authority through force but the book Dumbledore commanded silent authority...(I have too much MNO (= )They din even show Fudge the minister of Magic refusing to believe that Voldemort is back. But it was okay. It shows the gist. I especially like the part where Snape kept pushing Ron's and Harry's heads down to keep them from talking and made them do work. ~~~~So funny~~~I expect that those people who did not read the book are going to be confused because the story seems a little fragmented. I would rather have it a 2-part movie or a 4 hr long movie. I dun mind that. Maybe my expectation for the movie is too high...that is why I left the threatre slightly disappointed.
The best harry potter movie I have seen is the first one. Trueful to the book and meet my expectations. But I guess when the book gets thicker and thicker, there is bound to be some parts of the story not shown...I already can't wait for the next movie...which has to be made in 2 parts (I think) because that book is as thick as a dictionary.
Had breakfast with cher and others to celebrate her birthday before she went off for camp!! It was good...it feels good to be talking to them again and stuff. We have so much to talk about!!
Damn!! My eyes are closed....
