2010

When a year is drawing to a close, you tend to think about how you spent the past year, especially when you get older and older.

Oh well, I guess I would say that this year, I have to do a lot of searching, a lot of discovering, and a lot of learning.

First year of working is always a shock to any fresh grads, and I think I learnt as much as any other fresh grads who went through the same stage.

The best thing I think for now, that I have done in the past year, is signing up for gym. I have been wanting to do something to my health for the longest time, but I am lacking of commitment and facilities. That is also the bravest thing I have done too. I have never ever committed to set down so much money at a go.

And now I am loving it! Will be going to it for every week at least twice a week unless something crops up. And if that happens, I will try to find some way to fit into my schedule. It can be counted as a slight spark in my life, a little variation of the mundane office life.

I just hope that I will keep up the momentum and not get sick and tired of gym... like what Linda said.

And I love the movement of uppercut in kickboxing (picture from wikipedia as below.... not very clear but you can get the gist...)... don't ask me why. But I also feel happy when I am done with the lesson because I feel liberated. ( I know, I am weird...)

Oh well, 2009 was full of uncertainities. Let's hope that 2010 will be more of a certainity to me.

Ok, some resolutions for 2010.

1. To take less cabs. This is really the first on my list because this habit of mine is really costing me a lot of money.

2. To save some money after repaying my school loan. This idea would be feasible this year.

3. To do something more with my life. Have not exactly figured out what, but hoping can do so this year.

4. To hit the gym more often. To build more core muscle strength/ upper body strength, to lose weight, and be fitter. Maybe drop a size or 2.

And I really need a smartphone (iPhone preferably) to jot down all my thoughts. I have a lot of thoughts whenever I am outside but just plain lazy to blog after I get home.

Oh well, life is full of uncertainty. Hope next year will be good.

Cheerios.

Btw, there is this new song that keeps getting stuck in my head... it'a fun song. Good to listen to before you stepped into an office. Enjoy Kesha- Tik Tok
