So much updates...

Meant to update last week but no time so here goes...
Last wed, 21 Mar 2007:

Met Yiwen, Kak Ling and Melissa to go SMU to interview a friend of ours and do surveys... so tired. But guess what?? I was the first to arrive!! So rare right??!!! Everyone was late due to one reason or another (eg yiwen said she had to go toilet and shit the last min and caused her to have wobbly legs...) so I held the grand honour of "being the first person here". Everyone was happy for me, esp wen cos she had waited for me countless times in the past... meeting xiaoyuan aka xiaoyun was very fun. Went ard smu and look look... esp those places whereby u can't access without smu matric card... their school so nice!! But guess what? I was so unfamiliar with their toilets that I actually walked into the janitor's room when I was trying to get out!! So embarrassing!!

Went home in the afternoon to take a nap before going to the TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES!! And guess what?? Was supposed to meet jul at 5pm in tamp interchange and she called me at 5.30 to find me sleeping!! I totally slept through my alarm clock!! Smashed my good record in the morning!! Rush out of the house and had to take a cab to reach Vivo on time... Suckers.

When I entered the cinema, there was no place to sit!! I was randomly head for a 2 seats in the 3rd row from the front and sat down. Guess what? It was then I realised that I was sitting beside 987 DJ Shan Wee!! Was very shocked but was trying to act like I wasn't... hahaha. Typical. He was very good looking up front, super tall. His legs was so long that the Vivo seats do not have enough leg room for him!! He kept shifting up and down... pity the person who sat directly behind him man. Wanted to ask to take a picture with us but we shy... hahahaha

Linda told me she heard that he's gay... )= Spoiler. But at least I sat beside him for 2 hrs.

Oh yeah, the movie was ok. I love Michaelango!! I dun use to have a fave turtle but now I like him!! He's so like me!! Klutz!!

And I think Zhang Ziyi was voicing one of the characters...

After the movie, we went to Tangs... and I found my Michael Kors Island perfume there!! I am so in love with the bottle!! I want to buy but the smallest is $65.. I love the scent and the bottle!!!
Thursday, 22 march:

Corp Finance professor's wife gave birth and post the announcement that there will not be any class that day at 6.20am. Who will on their computers at 6.20am?? He's nuts!! Made me go to school all the way for nothing...

Sat, 24 march:

Went to Orchard to get my Lancome free gift for members after biz com test in the morning...The person at the scotts counter was so unfriendly. Know that I don't have money to buy their stuff she gave me attitude. So rude!! So what I don't have money to buy~!!?? I know your products ok!! Irritating... hate this type of sales person.

But my membership is expiring end of next month and I have no means to maintain it... so at least I will not be dealing with lancome personel for a while.

But when I earned enough money, I shall buy so much lancome stuff that all the sales persons kiss my toes...~~

Sun, 25 march:
Had a promo marketing meeting. Rarely so productive. Very happy. And I bought another pair of shoes on that day too... sighz. 4th pair within this sem. One S&K slippers, 1 C&K sandals flats, 1 pointy red toe shoes and 1 peep toe polka dot....
My mum said that I kept buying shoes.... )=

Mon, 26 mar:

Went to school early for biz com meeting. Presentation this wk and videotaped!! Nervous!! So much work to do! Then skipped APB lecture to go field trip for promo... Went to BBDO Singapore, which is large advertising agency in the world. Had offices in 77 countries I think. Our tutor used to work there before he resigned 2 years ago.... I like that place and the offices. They don't exactly have cubicles... they have places that looks more like dens. The people there looks friendly. But they speak in perfect english!!!~~ SO scary.

The job opportunities look good too. One person told us that she moved from sg to hk to london then back to sg... London le!! They are actually offering internships to us... it will be good to be an intern for BBDO. Can open a lot of doors. But it's hard to get it. They will give u a brief to work on and they recruit based on that work.... not easy huh?

And our tutor actually introduced us as "business students from SMU"....................... a couple of us actually boo him.. lol...

Very fun trip. Glad that I skipped APB. Eye opener.

The ang mohs working there (those of higher positions...) look friendly and fun. They don't mind being teased by employees working below them... and I noticed there is actually one of them that is very very handsome... lol

Ok... basically there's what happened in the last few days... in a nutshell... super busy to blog. I wanted to watch music and lyrics actually but I was so busy. Doubt that I will have the time. Poor jul want to watch movie with me also cannot... sorry ar girl!! Will watch with u when I am done!!

List of things to do:
1. Biz Com presentation... need to modify
2. Biz Com speech... need to practise
3. APB report... I need to research on some figures
4. APB tutorial... doubt I have the time
5. Promo excel spreadsheet... my duty to do
6. Promo campaign part 1... my part to do.

Can't exactly say what our campaign will be... scared there are spies in my blog. =) Must act like real teams competing for real clients... which is true actually. We are competing for a chance to launch our campaign with a real client...

Promo project very heavy at the moment, but I am glad I took this module. Wei wei was right, it's an eye opener. Changed my way of looking at advertisements, their communication methods, my view of certain products, controversies... etc. The module forced u to think quite a bit. Not to mention I will never know the famous ad agencies names if I never took this module...

A lot of biz students have a lot of work... but I think I may have the heaviest workload of all becos of promo...
Ok, I better go back to work. Need to complete my gen bio assignment. Sigh.

Work is hateful. Sorry everyone if I act anti-social. Very busy and tired...

Btw, Michael Phelps just smashed Ian Thorpe's seemingly unbreakable 200m Freestyle record... Phelps finished 1.43.86 in 2007 championships, while Thorpe's record was 1.44.06 during 2001 championships... I am a little upset cos it's Ian Thorpe's record but if I can choose who to break his record, it's Phelps. Phelps is an amazing swimmer!! Love him too. Not to mention he is cute too.... hahahah...
