Long Overdue Update
This is a long overdue update....Where to start? For starters, I am finally off medication even though I have to be careful with what I put in my mouth. After my gastric problem before the CNY, I actually had diarrhroea on 7th day to 8th day on CNY. Went back to the doctor for the fourth time in the month and found out this time it is gastric flu. Avoid eggs, milk and beans again...
So now I can declare myself almost fit, though I must make sure I have enough sleep and avoid eating too much of eggs, milk and beans... and of course avoid fried food, coffee and tea. So many things I cannot eat... )=
Had my promo presentation on the first day of school.. I was actually shaking when I was presenting because I was so unprepared. But lucky the ad I chosen was funny in its own way and that kinda broke the ice. I even saw my tutor laughing... for everything I may have done wrong in the presentation (eg I stutter so much during the presentation...), I guess I did something right.
Well, this is the advertisement that I used. Enjoy the ad!! It's sure very cute!!
Of course there is Corporate Finance mid term... I was late for the test!! And this time it is entirely not my fault!! I was early when I got out of the house and boarding of the train. It was due to the traffie jam during the 96 trip... which was horrible. I am still stuck at the same place as I was at 9am and I boarded the bus at about 8.25am. But lucky I can finish the paper..
But something interesting happened. Yingqi and I were stuck outside the room because the prof was... super mafan la. There is this exchange ang moh guy (btw, he is so tall that my eye level only reached his chest) who took his friend's cheat sheet (or in prof's words, 'pink sheet') before the test and was trying to return to his friend during the test. He said his friend's name is "Sa-wah-ka" or something like that. Anyway, it was an unusual name. But my prof, who is a Korean, said "Sawadika", which is Thai's Hello and Goodbye!! The ang moh guys tried telling him again but the prof kept saying Sawadika.. what is worse is that I don't think both of them know what does Sawadika mean... me and Yingqi were trying to stop ourselves laughing...
And then I realised something else then. The colour of the paper that the cheat sheet was written was in pink... That guy really followed the prof's 'pink sheet'... LOL...
Got so much to do now that it's crazy. I don't like Biz Com. Got to do so much work just for that few marks... 1.2% of my entire grade for a pop quiz. It's ridiculous. So much of other stuff to do. Promo project, Gen Bio essay, Biz Com executive summary... and APB project. Help!!
