My package came!

Haha! I am so happy! The package that I asked my colleague to get for me is here! And here is a picture!

Haha, 2 water sleeping pack (one for jul), 5 TFS raspberry eye mask and one TFS mask given to me by my colleague! Haha... total damage without jul's share is about 60 bucks, but I am happy. In time for the next mth! And haha, I know my post have been really bimbotic but I am kinda lazy to blog long long so I blog bimbotic posts... and I am allowed with bimbotic moments right?

And with yiwen going to korea and linda going to taiwan soon, got more chances of masks and other skincare!

Yup, I have a soft addiction to skincare =) Inspired by jie's blog, maybe next time, when I got the time, I will blog about my skincare regime =) Now, just wanna sleep...

Been lazy to blog these days because I am trying to catch up with Grey's Anatomy... which is one my fave shows currently. The theme behind the shows are always very meaningful... there is about life, wishes, dead etc. Stirs many thoughts up in me =)

Anyway. got so many meet up these days that it is burning a hole in my pocket... Got the one with NUS people, which everyone was happy for Angelynna and with everyone hearing her story with mixed reactions. Haha. But poor Linda darling. I was supposed to find the price of this jumpsuit which cost SGD2000 in Beijing and SGD1600 in HK. But we weren't able to find the store because it has been moved... So basically, I dragged Linda from Ngee Ann to Scotts then at last to Paragon where at least the Maxmara store is located... Thanks Linda! It was very nice for someone to thug around the whole of Orchard Rd in that kind of heat.

This is the picture of the jumpsuit... I think there is a white tank top underneath so you can't really see carefully. U guys can judge whether it is worth the SGD1319 in Singapore... picture link here.

Met up with Jie yesterday... shall try to drop the "da" because she doesn't want to sound old... Had branch, watch movie (confusing The International), play at arcade and shopping! And she bought chocolates for me! I assumed they are from Swiss because she just came back from Zurich. It's so nice to talk to someone who is not in the midst of office environment, to see things from a different angle. And to crap with her bf... haha. Will miss her when she is flying! =)

After working a few months, I really understood the difficulty of my job. Being in my position is not easy, because in school, even in CCAs, no matter what you have done before, can never prepare you for this. The truly sandwiched feeling is very hard to bear with sometimes. But still! I know it is good training for me, and I am sure I will come out from the other side of the tunnel being proud and smarter.

On a lighter side, there is a horrible office bug floating around! Almost half of the people were missing on thurs or fri and I am like chewing on vitamin C pills frantically in hope that the bug won't come to me! Sigh...

Anyway, I am still trying to read Pride and Prejudice, but as I told Linda, the way of reading is much more different than the modern writing, so I am reading more slowly in order to fully understand the story...

I should end now, because I wanna watch the Stars Awards in peace. And btw, I think the alarm thing to warn the award winners to wrap up their speech because I think it is irritating. Not to mention it stiffles the humourous part that used to be part of the show...

I got my Danny K's 2nd album! (edited)

I met up with Da Jie last sun and she finally got the Danny K album I was waiting for while she was at Jo-Berg! Haha! And she got it at about SGD3! Lucky asked her to get it for me loh! If I fly it here, confirm at least 10 times more ex lah! THANKS DA JIE FOR GETTING IT FOR ME!! =D

So happy about it that I played this album to rots on my ipod... literally dancing to it in the morning to perk myself up for a day of work. Esp love some of his songs like Love in Da Club and Back in Your Life, which I heard snippets of it on his official website but never get to hear the whole thing. But the bad thing is that I can't find his lyrics anywhere on the web and it's frustrating. Sigh... South African artists are just not popular in other parts of the world isn't it? Will try to get some of the songs in imeem so that I can put it on the blog =)

And yup,for the umpteen time, he is not black. He is this white, shuai, cute, cool great singer who happened to live in an African country with 60% (the last time I heard is this percentage, don't know got change anot) of its people as white.

Btw, here are a couple of videos that I found on youtube for his songs =) First one is Outta Control, second one is Unfrozen

Anyway bought this nice Juicy perfume with her on the same day (and witnessed her buying a lot of masks haha). I thought the bottle is kind of cute actually...

Will meet Da Jie at the end of the month again =) And meanwhile shall think of what to ask her to buy for me at duty free! =) And also meanwhile, waiting for my water sleeping pack flying all the way from Korea at almost half the pricee =D

And met up with IE people. FINALLY! It took ages to plan! And so hard to plan! I am never going to plan something like this ever again! Almakz! Next time shall sabo yunting to do it because by then, she should not be having exams anymore! Got free time to plan! Haha!

Photos with vian and swee shoon, have to get it from them to post. Went to shokudo and balcony (and missed the last train but managed to take a bus home) =)

Sigh, got so much work to do these days that I am having backlog already... dread going to work on monday le. I am already having pre-monday blues, esp because of this long weekend...

Ok, this post is totally random. I am just tired and feel like going to bed already. Watched a whole day of shows (hitting grey's anatomy next) and I can feel my computer is dying from me opening it for 1 whole day.

I have no idea what I am talking about now, so I better sign off.

Cheerios. It's 3.07am now btw. And should I go to Grasshoppers' concert on 9 May??

Updates

Ok, just want to share this one of my fave foods/ snacks that you can't get in Singapore.

My relatives in Indonesia called them agar-agar, which they said is the same thing that we have in Singapore. But apparently this is made from some kind of plant, in which they cooked it and dried it naturally. It is really HARD to buy because they required a weather that is consistent dry enough (eg no rain for many days) plus they only made it at the end of the year whereby most people have more extra cash to buy. It is not cheap too. One will cost $5, which is not that expensive if you think of the absolute number but for agar agar, $5 is really expensive. The values goes into the rarity in buying it and the work to process it.

But it is really my fave snack! It is naturally sweet, chewy and sticky but at the right level. We cut them into strips and normally it takes only a few days to polish it off. But I think the others normally put them into some soupy desserts like those sago. I ALWAYS ask my relatives who are coming to Singapore to keep a lookout for me so that they can buy it for me. And they said I really know how to choose because I get them to buy a very expensive stuff =) And they always buy at least 3 of them for me =)

Here are the pictures. The colour of it is so beautiful too =)

Before it gets cut into strips....

Anyway, talking about meeting friends to catch up. It has been really nice, and I started to realise that times like this is really hard to get... Esp on ocassions like meeting up with my da jie... Listening to friends telling me about how they are addicted to delusional (is that how you spell that?) blogs, which now they got me addicted, interesting rebukal (is that how you spell them too? My eng is turning worse and worse with my work), and funny situations. And Jul with her "Matt" face from Idol... It's been fun =)

And Revolutionary Road, according to Jul, is showing on 16 Apr! FINALLY! I have been waiting for this movie for a llllloooonnnngggg time! I even emailed to GV to ask them when are they going to show it (and they have not reply). Haha, looking forward to see it.

Btw, I saw this Studio Wu email that I got that there is a trial class by Bryan called Wraacking. That cracks me up because what the hell is wraacking?!! Sounds like trying to hit each other rather than a dance loh!

Sigh, I really remember I got a lot of things to blog about but now my brain is like drawing a blank. Am I getting old already? What the hell is wrong with me??!!

I shall really blog later when I get the chance to remember stuff. And I will write them down this time =)

Cheerios.

Busy Week and Year ahead

Got a lot of random stuff I want to blog about, but I was too busy last week to blog. Went to a meeting today regarding one of the major projects. This is not my first meeting, in case you are wondering. I went to my first meeting on my 4th day to work already. But this project is really MAJOR... I heard from one of my colleagues that this project (consisting of many other little projects to form as one because all these little projects are branched out) is bigger than all the last 2 years' project combined. Not very convenient to talk about the project here but SHIT... it's going to be busy busy really soon (even with the increase in manpower), and I am so not going forward to it...

Anyway, heard from one of my colleagues cum friend from another dept (who is 36 floors away from me... -_-''') that there is a Laneige sale going on on thursday and I went today with one of my colleagues and Jul. My colleague is very funny loh. Went to buy the sliding pact in blue (that has her shade) and the pink one (that does not have her shade) so that she can switch the foundation into the pink case. Haha... But the sale is not very big and the items are limited... they do not sell the items that I want to buy but still all of us went home with some stuff today and a little happy.

Not likely to post pictures of the things I bought, because firstly I am lazy, secondly I just don't want to take the risks of many issues and thirdly I don't feel the need to do so =)

Btw, I kept telling my colleague she stays in pia-mia (pioneer mrt) lol... My dad gave that nickname to the extension of the Boon Lay line. He called Joo Koon jiu koon (就睡) ... Don't know how many of you guys get that Joo Koon joke.

Thinking of trying some Laneige SC because Zoe said it is quite good, and I have a good idea on what to buy. Will see how =)

Jul and I then went for dinner... after roaming around Robinsons. Haha, she bought her YSL stuff which she aimed for some time le. But anyway, very nice to catch up with her and she and I making faces... haha. Basically enjoying a little time that we have. Sigh, friday is always a bliss.

Aiya, got a lot of other stuff I want to talk about, but now all I really want to do is go to bed. Will blog all about my random stuff soon. And hopefully can finally meet my da jie soon (with my danny k album!) so that I can blog about it too!

Cheerios.
